ACTOR, WRITER & DIRECTOR

Julie Baastrup is a Danish-born actress, writer and director. She began acting training in London in 2018 and later in Copenhagen in 2021. In 2024 she debuted as a director with the short film “Goodbye Angel Child”.

She is inspired by identity, gender, female voices as well as family dynamics, which are central themes in her work. Julie is a firm believer in diversity in the industry and facilitates her set with inclusivity and care.
